private garden bar
Tucked beneath Howth DART station, the Bloody Stream’s Garden Bar is one of the largest and liveliest outdoor spaces in Dublin. Open year-round, it’s the heart of the pub on sunny days and buzzing evenings alike, with space for over 500 guests to enjoy great food, cold pints, and live music in the open air. The Garden Bar is where the Bloody Stream really comes alive, a place locals return to and visitors seek out for its atmosphere and energy.
The Garden Bar is available for Private Parties and BBQ’s
phil lynott stage
Philip Parris Lynott was an Irish musician, songwriter, and poet. He was the co-founder, lead vocalist, bassist, and primary songwriter for the hard rock band Thin Lizzy.
Phil lived in Howth for part of his life and had a great connection to the peninsula. His mother Philomena was a patron of The Bloody Stream. She passed away a number of years ago but we remember her fondly for her lovely personality, charm, grace and character.
Each year at The Bloody Stream, Thin Lizzy enthusiasts and fans come together to celebrate Phil’s birthday which takes place in August.
We built a stage in his honour, aptly named the Phil Lynott stage, where musicians of all ages come together to play Rock n Roll classics including all the Thin Lizzy favourites!
sunny beer garden
Our sunny beer garden is one of the largest in Dublin — a lively, relaxed space perfect for birthdays, celebrations and corporate gatherings. With plenty of seating, heaters for cooler days and a BBQ in the main garden during summer, it’s the ideal spot to settle in, soak up the atmosphere and enjoy great food and drink outdoors.
