Autumn has arrived in Howth, but the beer garden is not winding down just yet.

This October, Oktoberfest returns to The Bloody Stream for its third year, bringing two weekends of steins, live music, Bavarian food and good-natured games to the covered, heated beer garden beneath Howth DART station.

The celebrations take place on 2, 3, 4, 9 and 10 October 2026. Whether you are planning a lively catch-up with friends, a team night out or an excuse to leave the city for the coast, here is what to expect from Oktoberfest in Howth.

A Bavarian party with a Howth address

Oktoberfest may begin in Munich, but this version comes with a distinctly Bloody Stream setting.

The venue’s beer garden will be dressed in Bavarian colours and décor, with the Phil Lynott Stage at the heart of the entertainment. It is a sizeable, covered and heated outdoor space, which means the party can keep moving even when an October evening feels properly Irish.
